Has anyone heard or have thoughts on this headphone amplifier? I want to purchase it as a secondary amp in another room for my Grados. Already have the Ming Da - what an amp, BTW, I put on the score from "Chicago" and I swore the bass drum was right in the room with me and right in front!! I have never heard anything like that before in my life.

Anyway, the XianSheng is about $100 bucks chearper. Anyone heard?

I used to own the 708A, and thought it was a great sounding little amp. Had a nasty turn-on hum, but that didn't hurt anything. I finally sold it to a friend, who uses it daily and loves it. It synergizes wonderfully with the Audio Techica ATH-W100.

I have no idea what changes were made for the "B" version.

Great amp for the money - about $200.

No hum at all - dead silent.
