XENNS (previously known as Mangird) Impressions Thread

Which has better imaging? I find the imaging of the Tea to be one of its strongest qualities. It has truly holographic imaging for me, only bested by the MEST, of all IEMs I’ve heard so far.
Tea overall has better imaging, but for female vocal and string instruments i would choose globe

Do male vocals sound better on the tea than the globe?
Which set has a faster bass transients?
I can't comment on the globe, but male vocals are one of my main interest in listening to music (still on my individual journey in determining my listening preferences related to IEMs) . The tea's are great in this respect. Very detailed nuances, rough edges are very well presented.

Here's some Saturday morning gear porn for you all (Cayin N3Pro with the Mangird Tea is a match made in heaven).

You're welcome! I wouldn't say one is better than the other. Male vocals can be more rough and that is presented very well. Female vocals, in contrast, can be fragile sounding. I would say that is presented in a similar quality by the tea's. As I said, I like vocals in listening to music. With the tea's I'm very happy with both female and male vocals.

That's awesome!
I am on the pre order list for Lokahi but some people who have it early suggest that it it's lacking in the male vocals...
After reading multiple impressions on this thread of the tea i think I'll just cancel it already.

Hey guys, so I've been A/B testing and using different headphones lately and I'm really amazed that after trying headphones like the Aryas and HD600 I still come back to the Teas and they put a big smile on my face, that got me thinking two things,
  • What a steal are these.
  • What's the next step? I've been reading some people saying that the best IEM's are either the sony Z1R's or the MEST's (to put some examples) but I wonder what do you guys think? After all most of you are users of the teas.
EDIT: Typo

hello guys (this is my first post)
how tea would pair with shanling m6 standard one not (21) ?
I own the Tea and my brother the Shanling M6 and can say you that the Mangrid Tea is a good match for the M6 standard. Disclaimer: the Mangrid has an Effect Audio Maestro cable in 4,4mm not the original cable.

Comparison to original Blessing 2. I haven’t found any straight-up comparisons of Tea vs. Dusk either.
