I recommend you guys purchase from Penon Audio from now on. While these other sellers offer cheaper prices and it's easy to click the order button often sellers like Aliexpress (and others) have quite random dragged out shipping times. Whereas Penon Audio are consistent, with a reliable turn around of 10 days (roughly) like clockwork. That's why so many members use them.

This is clearly just a bug-fix release, to clear up a couple of gremlins. But the most important part is that we now know the structure and code needed for an update file, which is necessary for Rockbox

Okay I'm getting warnings about trying to download the X3-V1.1.rar file from the XDuuo site.  Specifically 800cdn.com is found in malware domains.  What's going on?

Secondly what is the process for updating the firmware on the X3?   I ask not having received mine yet but just wanting to get ready :)

Duh.... sorry.  Dunno how I missed that.  Regardless THANKS!

Well again I don't have my X3 in hand yet.  What is meant by "compression file"?   When I unpack the rar file I get a file folder called X3-V1.1.  Within it is an update.zip folder. Is the zip file to be put on the SD card or the rar file as both from my knothole are compressed?   Just sanity checking here.....

No, you need to get a FAT32 formatted microsd and copy to the root the "update.zip" file...

So..thought I'd give this update business a go to see what goodies it would bring....
Before I could click the update option, it locked up and began to update itself lol...talk about eager haha....
The new UI.. looks like the cheapie China players of 2005-6 ish =/ Preferred the original UI in v1.0
Everything else seems good though.

Can someone grab 1-2 shots of this new interface please? I would like to see what's changed without updating.

I've noticed that there is a new option during song playback called "DAC Fiter" that consist of "Fast Rolloff" and "Slow Rolloff". Still figuring out the difference..

I like the new interface, a fresh approach to the old one.
