New Head-Fier
I recently bought this DAP,and I tried to compare it with the Sony zx100 and a15, I think it's better than Sony zx100 and Sony nwz-a15,and it is cheaper than zx100.
The sound of a DAP is hard to say because it is usually not only determined by the DAP itself but also some other factors like the headphone or IEM you use,the level of amp gain you set, your personal taste.
The x20 has two levels of amp gain ,which is helpful ,the zx100 and a15 can not set the amp gain.
I tried to use ath-m50x,philips X2HR,AKG n60nc wireless(with a ZHANGYANG diy cable),Beyerdynamic dp100(an earphone only sold in China) with the X20.
Through adjusting the level of amp gain,I get a satisfactiory sound for myself with all the gears I mentioned.
And it's convinent to use with the hiby-link by which we can control the DAP through a phone.
The flaws:it doesn't have a built-in memory and it takes me a lot of time to find a tempered glass to protect the screen,in the end,I have to use the glass I bought for zx100.
Personally recommend this DAP.
