You guys are always good at confusing the heck of average consumer.

Above listing would take you to the iFi page then if you look under Products - Neo iDSD, which shows updated spec but when you click Buy which lands you on old Neo iDSD on Amazon which shows : Date First Available ‏ : ‎ 9 Nov. 2020.

Do you guys not think of how an average user would navigate to find updated listing at all?

Just a question. I have active speakers and a subwoofer. Is it possible to connect on the rear, active speakers on 4.4mm balanced and subwoofer on 3.5mm s-balanced to play at the same time like a real preamp mode? Thanks a lot

I never had an issue before the update and nothing after. Albeit I only listened 1 day before installing the new firmware. I do get a small audible pop when switching filters and xbass/space. It's not very lots of concerning since I've heard that on many high and devices. I can also see how it may be a much more significant problem with the most sensitive of iems tho.
My only complaints are that the iematch should be relabeled to lo-off-high and I wish the screen-off button kept the screen off while adjusting volume and xbass/space. That's why there's different led indicators right? I'm nitpicking but when listening to this at night and toggling the volume wheel between tracks would feel a lot more immersive without that distraction.
One other question I had, is the battery user replaceable?

Some Head-Fiers says it is military grade quality but the first video on youtube shows how wobbly the buttons are...
I wouldn't call it military grade. The Xduoo xd-05 bal feels more military grade but this feels more premium. Like the difference between a Lenovo ThinkPad and a Microsoft Surface laptop. It's very high quality and I haven't experienced any wobbly knobs or anything that feels like an afterthought.

@Sebastien Chiu
Have you considered to add power saving control in the setting? kinda bummer Gryphon keep turning off in idle mode despite being powered with USB, and my speakers keep popping out when it happened.

Just curious, apologies if this has been answered earlier but can this device be used with generic windows drivers? (w/ the understanding that this would mean no volume sync or MQA etc...).

what would you be using as your crossover? Most active subs have that built in so you run to sub and then out from sub to speakers.

Found a review of the Gryphon by Gavins Gadgets on YouTube

I have just spent 2.5 hours reading all the posts :) I had planned to reply to a few posts following my review (thanks to RayMets1 for sharing it) , but unfortunately my younger sister unexpectedly became seriously ill and passed away 4 days later.

I just wanted to add my overriding view on the Gryphon. It is by far my favourite iFi product. It functionality answers all my needs. I don't use Tidal, so the MQA stuff is something not required. It sounds terrific with all my headphones. The only iFi product that I prefer more from a sound quality point of view, is the Diablo, but that is £300 extra, and the Gryphon has similar sound signature traits to the Diablo.

If anyone has any other questions that haven't been answered in this thread, or within my YT video comments section, please ask away and I'll do my best to answer them.

Personally, I haven't found any problems yet. After receiving the device, I charged it, updated the firmware and have been using it for about 40 hours without any problems. Only the pleasure of using and sounding.
