aluminum covering the edges/antenna of the iphone... wouldn't that impede signal?

since it's aluminum...shouldn't there be no effect?

are the volume buttons covered??

i don't think so. there is a recession in the case for the volume

What about Wake switch? it looks to be covered? do i need to flip that xprotector thing to access it every time?

no volume button cover is a deal breaker for me, i want the same type of cover for the power button for the volume button and a tiny hole for the silent switch

In fact it can solve the problem of the signal bug in the first batch of iPhone4 because the case is isolate with the iphone4/4s so your hand will not touch the enclose of iphone4/4s which also work as antenna.

You can still adjust the volume and the silent switch very easy!

I know this is the Fiio section, so I really do not want to sound like a jerk... but this looks a lot like an already existing case...

and a otterbox looks like all those other bulky boxes. Not to mention how many bumper style cases there are. I agree that...this is a bit bleh. But still. IT's still a case by a different company.

You will find it is not a full metal case and the way how it install to iphone4/4s is in different. :)  on this way, you can see all smartphone copy iPhone because now

all have a big touch screen.
