Actually... I cancelled my order after I called Sony..

The part I re-ordered was the Cabinet Assembly.... Hopefully they're right.. since I'd hate to have to ship it back, buy another, back and forth just to fix a damn Discman... =P

So partsolver is just the middleman? then why go through them when you can get the stuff from the original brand manufacturer? Partsolver would only be good to look up part numbers I think... like those thick catalogs that you would find at the Future/Active electronic component store...

Yeah I don't have the will power to spend $200USD on the 484 yet... dammit it was just $200HKD a decade ago.. factoring inflation and it still wouldn't cost $200USD nowadays if it is to be available...
