Cool website, but I wish there were more reviews and socres, especially cans in the $50-$100 price range. But thanks to the scores-not-based-on-value it makes it easier to find truly good cans.

Glad it's helpful, but yeah it needs more headphones in the lower price range. Reviews are always welcome from head-fi members

I can see IWA being controversial, since some don't own amps, or some have crappy ones, but I don't see bass quality being very trivial. It's just how well-maintained it is. Boomy or punchy? Also how quickly it brakes up with EQ adjustment. For example, my eH350 doesn't brake up at all when frequencies 20Hz-80Hz are increased +20dB. That's pretty impressive for a $140-list 'phone. But there are 'phones like the HD465, that have such boomy and easy to break-up bass it's unbelieveable.

That's fair. I want to take away some of the jargon that might make it harder to use for the average person, though I might have an advanced mode that will show everything.

Yeah I use your site for research all the time. I'm currently looking for a new can, and although there are not enough reviews on some as I would like, it's still great for reviews and the best place for researching a ton of cans at once.

There's not much I can do, except ask people to encourage others to submit reviews to the site. Anyone who wants more review on headphonereviews.org please add something like this to your sig here on head-fi. Replace the { with [ and } with ]

Please submit your headphone reviews to {url=http://www.headphonereviews.org}www.headphonereviews.org{/url}, today! All reviewers and headphone types welcome.

German Hifi Test Jan/07

I can't read German!! If you did those tests i'd love for you to enter the results into the headphone reviews database, along with the scores in the categories we judge by, preferably in English. PM me if you'd like any help

The prices of the D2000 and the D5000 seem a little off:

D2000 - US$350
D5000 - US$4798

I've seen that $350 price for the D2000 several places in these forums, but where is this coming from? I've been looking to buy them and they are usually around $250-$300.

Beats me. $350 is definitely not street price for a D2000
