Nice, never seen a HD520 before.
So there's a HD520 300 and 600ohms also? Fascinating

Where can I buy these two types of white felt orings?
Also - I knew that original pads were the best, but maybe there is something which I can seek for?
i have the opportunity to buy a 540 reference gold, but i have a few questions like what is a normal price for these headphones?
and i noticed that the inlays of the box are made of plastic while i saw pictures where they are made of foam. Is this normal? i do not see the original ref gold certificate on the photos either. Are there fake 540 ref gold on the market? I will include some pictures.
Hello again.
I have found the advert that you speak of. In fact, that example is a 600 Ohm model! I recognised it by its plastic insert, which is actually from the Original 600 Ohm model's Box. Photo 7 clearly shows this. If I were you, I would not hesitate to buy it at that price!
You already had published those photos. I have merely added the one showing the outside of the Box. It is a pity that the seller will not post it. It is a lost opportunity...I cannot see the plastic insert on the photo ? Or does the 600 ohm model have a completely different box than the 300 model?
i am not going to buy it , the seller does not send it by mail, you have to get it at his home which is not very close to where i live.
And yes, the 600 Ohm model came with a very distinct box, with sharp, rather than rounded edges, and those golden "appendices" in the top Corners, lacking in the 300 Ohm model. It is also surprisingly lighter, less substancial than the latter. Not that I care about this in the slightest. It is all about the performance for me...I cannot see the plastic insert on the photo ? May I ask why you prefer a portable amplifier?Additional question regarding the selection of the portable amplifier matching hd540, hd600 and other 300 ohms headphones.
Here are the models that I could find on amazon (my budget is up to 180 euros):
FiiO Q3 (150 euros)
ifi HipDac v2 (180 euros)
ifi Zen Dac v2 (160 euros)
ifi ZenCan (160 euros)
which one may work better?
Sorry to chill you, but with your budget and preferences for a portable amp, you'll have far below the minimum HD 540 sound.I would prefer definitely something portable and efficient I’ve tested hip dac and fount that it could improve the sound of hd 540 . I also like separate balances input . May the FiO be better ?
The Schiit Magnius features Balanced Line Inputs and Outputs, as well as both Unbalanced and Balanced Headphone outs. Difficult to beat in terms of flexibility...I would prefer definitely something portable and efficient I’ve tested hip dac and fount that it could improve the sound of hd 540 . The Jotunheim would be, in theory at least, even better than the Magnius. At that price is a great buy. With very similar functionality. The Saga is a pure Preamp, if that's what you are after, too.Just a question . What’s about others amplifiers of the same brand ? I’ve seen
Schiit Saga SCH 20 (200 euros)
Schiit JOTUNHEIM (250 euros)
ifi HipDac v2 (180 euros)
ifi Zen Dac v2 (160 euros)
ifi ZenCan (160 euros)

thank you!Just to help you out a bit:
- hip-dac 2 is a portable DAC/amp product.
- ZEN DAC V2 is a DAC/amp product that is very comparable to hip-dac 2, but meant to work on a dektop.
- ZEN CAN is a headphone amp only meant for desktop, so you would need a DAC for it.
Hope this helps!
