I'm a drummer and I play in my church about 2-3 weeks out of the month. Right now I've got a set of Shure se215ltd's. I've been looking at getting a custom set of in ears for a while and I was looking at Alclair. My question is would one of their dual driver monitors be an upgrade for me? Also, if so which one would be better? It says the dual xb is less aggressive with more bass than their normal duals. However, I don't really know that much about headphone specs and I was looking for some guidance. Thanks!

Yes but mostly due to isolation and it just being a better device. The # of drivers is less important. Which you use depends on your needs, The non xb is said to be quite accurate but if you feel you need extra bass reinforcement due to the louder environment, you have your answer.

JH5 keeps up with triple and quad drivers. Terrific custom for the money

Never heard them but whilst doing research on them 1964 ears seemed very popular with the church performers.
