Each day I will post a poll - All you have to do is vote off what you think is the worst mp3 player on the list - the next day I will repost the same list minus the player you voted off. This will continue till we get left with one mp3 player.

I vote ipod. Everyone has one, and that makes it stupid. It plays music but not uh . . music. So that's another point off. Ummm . . . it has a wheel, and wheels are round. Round is the same shape as a pentagram, and you know, evil and all that. It's small and white like klan member hoods, so it's prejudiced against the peoples. My friend's mom's chiropractor said he saw a nano beating up kids and taking their lunch money, plus going around doing that doorstep thing with the flaming poo. And the ipod smells funny . . like stankilankin'.

Also, apple is the great evil empire, and they need to be like liberated by jedi or something. Steve jobs eats children, which I really do believe he does. But uh . . . Journey rules.

Kill off iPod Nano. They're getting way to common and they are pieces of crap.

Not to mention that they'll get scratched before you even touch it.

iRiver H10, because the H100 and H300 showed us that iRiver was capable of so much more. Honorable mention to the Toshiba Gigabeat for feeling cheap, requiring proprietary software that adds encryption, and using a control system that somehow manages to be worse than the (unfortunately) ubiquitous vertical touch strip.

I thought the iPod Video was gonna win this poll, I guess the shuffle is pretty bad too. Although I am kinda interested in getting one because of its sheer portability.

Sony NW-A3000, since only a company like Sony would cripple a kick ass mp3 player, and make it dependent on Sonicstage. Oh yeah, and it doesn't support 48kHz files.

H10 by far, because iRiver was SO promising and gave us so many awesome players up til that point. Their entire line nowadays just sucks.

The ignorance in this thread is astounding. The iPod Shuffle's headphone jack is pretty damn good for DAPs - cleanest bass response out there. It's stupid to hate on something just because it has a good interface, great software integration, and is popular.

No, I'm not a fanboy, I don't even own an iPod, I just think it's weird to pick the top brand on the market as "worst".

I wouldn't call it the worst, but definately the the most disappointing. As others have already said this was the beginning of iriver's decline. Some people might argue that it was the H300 that started it, but the H10 was the most obvious drop in quality.

Hey *I* didn't vote for the shuffle.. I like my 4G iPod... Personally I think the iPod gets a bad rap just *because* it's popular...

On second thought, I'm very surprised to see the iPod Video on that list. If there had to be an iPod on that list, I'd think it'd be the 3rd gen with no tactility whatsoever and poor battery life. If the poll is limited to players currently on the market, why is Karma listed? If it isn't, then why no m:robe? And how could the Zen Vision:M (for example) be worse than the Philips 6330, which isn't even an option?
