btw you pronounce !!! like (chk chk chk) like grit your teeth and say it. or you can head off to a local record store and say "I'm looking for EXCLAMATION MARK EXCLAMATION MARK EXCLAMATION MARK." and get a strange stare until you prononuce it correctly, speaking from personal experience of course. :p

It's a Velvet Underground reference; after Lou Reed and John Cale were both gone, the remaining members pushed out one more, long forgotten album, called Squeeze.

I agree with the poster who said that punk bands generally come up with the best names. Leave it to snotty, disaffected punks to straddle the thin line between best and worst.

Two of my favorite punk band names:

Crispy Ambulance (early British punk)
Meat Puppets (American hardcore band)

Edit: I haven't thought about the Crispies in the longest time. The image that that name evokes is just...so...wrong.
