I don't think there's ever been a turntable that came in a wider variety of wood finishes than the TD 166. It could be rosewood which would be darkish with a very prominent grain pattern. They also made it in red mahogany which would be more reddish-brown with a straighter grain pattern. Many have also had custom plinths made for them which could be anything.
