I was trying to find some info about the Sophia Princess tube at the Woo Audio site but I didn't see any. I did do a lot of drooling looking at the STAX SR-007MK2.

but that's about it.

I have a Woo3. Is there a version of this tube that would work for me?

I don't see any reason why she wouldn't work with the WA 3, you can order from the woo 6 product page 2nd from the bottom on right, check here.

NO. The WA3 does not use tube rectification. The rear tube is the power tube, a 6AS7G dual-triode. If you plugged a rectifier tube into that socket of your WA3, *very* bad things will happen.

No problem. If you want to get better tubes for the WA3, buy a Tung-Sol 5998 to use in place of the 6AS7G

That is what I'm using. I'm not into tube rolling but the 5998 was recommended in a W3 thread. I'm using some type of Amperex also.

Sounds good to me. I've had my W3 since I joined here...I am strong!

Thanks for informing me, I should use more care as my amp's the WA6 and I should not comment on the WA3, my apologies.

And with a 5998 and Amperex 6DJ8's, the WA3 is a very fine amp, indeed.

No worries, I was just trying to help. I have an amp that can use the 5AR4 and equivalents, my Decware CSP-2, and as such I am interested in the Sophia, so it was nice to read your comments. I have been using a Sylvania VT-244 (5U4G) for the rectifier tube, which sounds excellent, but the Sophia is intriguing.
