Can someone compare the volume output on these compared to iBuds?

no, i'm not one of those people who bash bose without using them. i actually had 2 pairs of bose in-earphones. they were poopoo. the muddy/boomy bass completely killed everything else. i wouldnt pay $25 for those.
However, i wouldnt mind paying $50 for the triports around-earphones. i tried to pick one up on ebay but gave up when i found out that people were paying $100+ even for the used ones.

They do suck compared to higher end IEM's.

yes, the fake one at least has audio-able mid and high. The "real" just sound damn sad
