I am an owner of the Fiio FH5 Black Edition. This IEM fits my ear perfectly. It is actually one of the very few IEMs that does. I have tried all sorts of IEMs, and almost every one of them ends up refusing to seal. The inside of my ear has a unique shape compared to most people. In terms of sound quality, I think the FH5 is unmatched by anything else currently in the 250 US price realm. I am interested to check out reviews of the new FH5s.

Stunning looks! I'm looking forward to experience this... I really liked the silver variant btw... looks really premium... even better than FH7 imo
Yeah, I also really like the silver...

Curious how much of a difference the tuning switches will make. Hopefully not just a gimmick.

Hopefully Crinacle gets his hands on one.

1. The mesh seems quite open. Does this mean less sound isolation for portable use?
They're described as "semi-open" so they won't isolate very much. For some people that will be a straight "no", others will like the fact that they can choose to hear their surroundings a bit. At the price they are going for, they'd be pretty easy to pick up as an "at the office" pair or "listening at home or while out walking". Might even be a good choice for cyclists....

Just from an industrial design perspective, these IEMs are :fire::fire::fire:
