I finished the cable, here's a few pics. The cable is 7 feet long, which is all I really needed. I don't have my headphones yet, so i don't know how it sounds.

The K271's were just delivered. Great so far. I tried the stock cable for an hour, then switched to the DIY cable. Big improvement. The detail isn't 'smeared' or 'murky' like it is with the stock cable. The bass 'slam' isn't where I want it yet, however it is closer to what I want it to be using the DIY cable. These phone still need a lot of burn-in time. I'm just glad I didn't throw away my money and time building the DIY cable!
