This EQ is more suitable for connecting to speakers, this effect is similar to the effect of secondary playback, 3D sound field.

Had a brief test with my Android Nexus 6P with added aptX libraries. To my suprise it appears that Android also supports low latency; either that or Plex is compensating automatically which I doubt. So that's cool!

Audio wise, paired with my Meze 99 Classics, the noise floor is noticeable on the lowest volume levels, but in between movie dialog or during music it's a non-issue. When pausing you can hear a brief moment of high frequency noise floor before it fully mutes. On my Ultrasone HFI780s I can't make any of it out.

I'll be testing it more with my Avantree Oasis using its optical in off of my AV receiver, but I'm extremely pleased so far. Finally a great product to turn any headphones into a wireless pair suitable for any media!

Edit: as for BT reception, I have zero issues with it; my wifi is 5Ghz so perhaps other 2.4GHz wifi is interfering, but I still have no drop 5 meters away from my phone with direct line of sight. After that it starts to cut out. I expect full room range with the Oasis having its own dedicated antenna but will test and report back.

Good review, thanks for that. Which cables are you using with your Shures? I have struggled to find a good, reasonably priced, short cable to use with my Shures and an older Sony bluetooth adapter. The new Fiio short MMCX1s cable looks interesting but it hangs straight down in the product photos and I'm not sure how well it would do wrapping around the ear with Shures, since it does not appear to have any "memory wire" reinforcement.

6p shouldnt support aptx even with oreo. at least im not supported even though options are selectable. could you expand on your config?
