I'm with craigster75. Its worth $350 to them either way so whats the difference. I choose blue!

I certainly wouldn't turn them down in silver and would still appreciate winning, which, realistically, is only a 1 in 250 chance.  It never hurts to ask and I was just stating that, IMHO, the blue Sennheiser is a great color, terrific shade of blue, and is a better looking version.

Expensive is a relative term.  How much is all the survey data provided by headphone enthusiasts for this contest worth to a headphone company?  Probably more than a pair of Amperiors, at their cost no less.  This is brilliant marketing, not altruism.
