purchased on the fly, thought it might be good enough to use it to connect my ipod to my FiiO E3 amp to my AD700's

I dont think so, I'm not a big believer in HQ cables. I would get something like this and compare.

Read through the fancy words on Monster website, the cable seems to be star quad ('DoubleHelix') construction with OFC cord. It might have slightly better RF rejection but don't expect too much from it.

Unless you have some reason to believe that the cable will fall apart or cause some damage to your rig, I think it will be fine.

True, but some of the employees selling it told me its overpriced crap :3(Vga cables/HDMI/Optical (why the heck is shielded so much)), long live the truth.
