The 595 is the most comfortable headphone I have ever used except for possibly the sony cd3000.

like RichardCory, i tried positioning my hd555's in everyway possible, and i could still feel the hard plastic thing. i don't have big ears either. the plastic piece isn't fatiguing, but it annoyed me just because i could feel it touching my ears. like i said in a previous post the hd555's are nowhere near as comfortable as the k701's or dt770's *to me* They were, however, WAY more comfortable than my sr60's

i am satisfied with the sound, they sound clear and smooth.
the bass is quite strong. i am hearing the voices clearer and are hearing more details than before. Highly recommended.

Glad you like them! once you get used to the soundstage, you wont be able to listen to anything else.

are you using the little dot 2 with the tubes?
with wich source have you connected the amp to?

Well, I got the Little dot 2 plus which is the upgraded version.

My source is my PC with AV710 sound card, but I'm thinking to get a CDP,
I don't really like the player using up all the resource on my PC when I'm working on other stuff on my machine.....

I guess it's more or less depends on the quality than SS/tube.
The main difference of SS and tube is the sound you get.
For this amp, it's only <1%, so it doesn't make a difference for me.
And I like the sound better than straight from the card.
