He didn't even try the crowbar....

I know it wouldn't work but seriously, I would've just jammed it in and gone "ahwell guess you can't blend a crowbar, but the crowbar really messed up this blender". I suppose it wouldn't be all that good marketing, but there really aren't any home appliance I can think of that would make short work of a crowbar anyway, might as well be sports.

I've worked out what it reminds me of. That classic BBC tv series 'look around you'. It's a great parody of the science videos from the 60's that every child has suffered through.
