I'm looking for a pair of closed back headphones for portable use to upgrade from my Bose AE2. I recently bought a pair of Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro but I immediately ran in to problems due to a short in the cable somewhere near or in the input terminator, so I have to return them. But I was thinking about instead of getting another pair of COP should I just go for a pair of T70p.
I have a pair of of T90 for home use, and I really like them alot. Do the T70s sound simular?

I have a T70 and while I seem to be one of the few who actually like them, I would say that (having not heard the T90) from the impressions I've seen, they are not all that similar.   Might be better to not jump on them until you've had a chance to hear them first.

I disagree with that, but ok the T70 maybe different. What about the DT 770?
