It's "instant savings," as in you pay $199 (+ tax) at the register.

The dell widescreens give about the best performance for the price. The wfp2007 is 400 i believe which is a 20 inch widescreen.

2x.

I'm using an older model, and love it.

I've read that it's the same monitor sold by Apple at a @#&* price.

Just as an update I got my monitor and I am quite happy with it. I had to download new drivers to be abloe to do the 1440X900 display but once I got that going its pretty awosme. I have seen better monitors for sure, but for the price I think it was deff worth while.

I picked up a 21inch widescreen Samsung 215TW in black a couple of weeks ago and it is stunning. 8ms delay, 8-bit panel, 1600x1050, 60hz.

its got dvi, vga, component, rca, so many inputs.

but the response and clarity/contrast/color reproduction is what has enamoured me, it is simply incredible how it brings photos to life. on my sony G420 i used to think my camera produced dull photos out of the box, but this monitor shows what its capable of.

it can also swivel side to side, and go up and down, and also rotate to portait if required.
