I have been searching around a lot and I'm reading a lot of inconsistency in amp recommendation for the DT880/600 ohm. I was originally going for the LD MKIII but people said it wouldn't have good synergy.

Headphone amps are though to come by in my country so I guess I will have to order something from the UK

Here are some amps I am considering:

-Matrix M-stage (I like that this one has 2 inputs and a switch on the front)
-Fiio E9
-Schiit Magni
-LD MKIII (bad synergy with DT880/600 ohm?)
-Schiit Valhala (Heard great things about it but it is definitely the highest I'm willing to go up in price)

I also heard that the Matrix M-stage is warm, is this comparable to the warmth of tube amps?

I have also heard that tubes only have a life span of about 7 months and I heard you can't replace the tubes on the valhala, so how will this work when the tube has died?

I hope someone can answer my n00b questions.

Have you considered the Crack?
I have the DT990-600 and it's a perfect combo.

You can replace the tubes on the Valhala. In fact you can roll them if you like. It is as absolutely wonderful amp. I am using it with the HD 600's and I love it.

... I'd go for the Dark Voice, there's a fellow selling one for just the price you mentioned here in the Fs Forum! There's also Millet Max Hybrid [DIY] aps that sell for around $150 usd

I like my dt 880 250 ohms with my Millet Max, but ofc lower impedance

The Dark Voice is a nice amp. It has a darker presentation than the Valhala IMO. I think depending on your music preference and the characteristics you prefer you will be happy with either.

I read somewhere that the valhalla is bright and the DT880 is also bright, so the darkvoice would be a better pairing right?

The Valhala is a bit brighter than most tube amps. If you are looking to tone down the highs of the 880 then I would suggest the Dark Voice as it is a bit more "tubey" in that regard.
