High quality headphone gear is so affordable now with excellent sound quality without breaking the bank. You can get DACs and amps for such cheap prices and they sound awesome. How can any music lover who is informed about this headphone technology say no?
In the mid 1970s friends put a really good pair of headphones on my head, with what would end up my favorite band. So in one moment I heard headphones and my favorite band, almost simultaneously!!!!!
Only then audiophile stereos and headphones were above my financial abilities. Fast forward till 1982, fresh out of high school and had the best stereo in the whole town...so naturally I had to get headphones too......they offer a different sound.
