I wanted to get the latest version of the Super Mini, but I see this and all the accesories are out of stock. I'm assuming that there is a Version 6 soon forthcoming. I e-mailed Xin to see if/when we would see this, but his response was rather abrupt and a bit rude.

Has anyone else communicated with him about this? Is there any other place to get a Super Mini?

i talked to him. he told me to wait a bit, after i told him i want v5.18.
he maybe replied that way, because he asked not to ask him when it will be out (in his web page)
he probably gets a lot of that question and he's sick of it..
he prefers to work probably.. don't worry.
and no, you can't get it anywhere else...he makes them himself.
be pacient, head-fier!

He tends to get wierd when he is under pressure. His website says that he is waiting for parts. Give him some space. His products are worth it.

Do you think we've seen the last of the Version 5.18? I'd be perfectly happy with that amp.

it makes alot of sense for Xin.

If he still go ahead with v5.18 orders he'd have to devote alot of his time making it. Time that can be better spent on developing v6.

I've been looking at the Lafferty "Headbanger" amp that is sold, commercially, at MiniDisco.com. Seems that nobody here has this amp, so maybe I can get it and do up a review.

as for the lafferty headbanger: i built that kit waaay back about 5 years ago. i must have built it long before he commercialized the schematic or something... it sounded pretty decent using the parts he recommended. the only fault was the parts he recommended at the time were all from ratshack. how much is minidisco selling them for? i might be tempted to stay away from it, youd be better off buying a cmoy or a meta42(i have one of those:much better)
