i've heard it on 2-3 songs (so far) on my ipod...the music just starts to clip and skip like if it was a scratched CD.

At first i thought it was a bad transfer, so i played said music back on the PC, and no clipping there.

Gonna re-transfer in a bit, but can anyone tell me why this is happening? I have error-checking ticked off in iTunes when i transfer CD's so i have no idea...

I've had the same thing happen - for me it was with certain songs with a lot of bass on my ipod , and then used the same headphones with my MBP, and no clipping there - what is up?

I had samething but it was completly randon on my 5.5 U2 iPod.

Hm, might explain the clipping, but what about the skipping?
