And some purists deride electric guitars just the same was as some deride synths. Anything used as an instrument is fine by me, either I like it or I don't.
It's the final sound that matters and not what was used to create it.

there are actually more queen albums WITH unhealthy doses of synths than there are without. the worst offender is the abysmal 'hot space', which includes spades of overblown disco dreck and is all but drowned in cheesy synths.
