Select them all (Ctrl+A, or you could click+drag a box around everything, etc.. so many ways!), right-click, Play. Bam! Instant listening nirvana, and it's so user-friendly! Windows Media Player.. always there when you need it.

Not when it's all in a folder call mp3 and in there are subfolders for artist and then subfodlers for albums/singles.
I've been using players for ages now but WMP9 is the best due to its play list ability. It organises everything so succinctly and awesomely its the best for what I need.
Also you can rip music via Lossless format which is a bonus++
as you convert audio files to mp3's, you may want to uncheck encryption.
i will say that i like the video playback - it will playback all the videos, non-stop, with just a slight pause inbetwix. great for watching 10 second clips
what is the default bit rate for writing mp3s in MP9? can you change it?
