Who prefers the Sennheiser HD 800 over the STAX SR-009? (Whether overall or in certain categories.)

I own both and while the 800s have their strengths the 009 is vastly better overall.

Having said that, the Yamaha YH-5000SE combines the best aspects of both and is now my reference go-to headphone.

Since I'm an original HD800 early bird who hopes it lasts a long time, until electro-stat's naturally take over the world as the leading reference monitoring drive system for headphones, and I also will just end up sometimes wishing it was the headphone amp, even if it usually is that best amp, has anyone critically reviewed using one of the exciter add-on's after their speaker outputs from a similar amp to compare VS? Will I still have a new requirement for a speaker amp, using only an exciter add-on for my headphones?
