  Just a random question, but when about did you guys start looking into nicer headphones, and other hifi pieces of equipment? :O

got it! vintage Kenwood KA-405

sound like crap with my solan when its on direct but after i switched it to 9.5\10 treble and 6-\10 bass (and loudness on) the sound was not bad at all, and much better than the Onkyo

In response to my own question, I bought my first pair of headphones back in grade 7, but started looking into actual good sound back in grade 8! Joined here sometime around than. I'm in grade 12 now

Still around. Junior, 11th grade now, hoping to grab a FiiO Q1 for my turntable and X1 soon. My main setup at home is FiiO X1 > Grado SR80i, and when I'm out it's X1 > Shure SE215. Loving both so far, but I would like to upgrade at-home headphones at some point; maybe some AKGs or a Hifiman HE400S.

I've been a music enthusiast since elementary. Use to run around with an original Sony Walkman and binder of cassettes. I started looking into better headphones in middle school. I was known for having new headphones every few weeks
