I am a happy user of a working pair of Sennheiser MTW3. The sound quality is great, but I started wondering what would be the next step in searching for the best sound quality in true wireless realm.

I mostly listen to extreme metal and enjoy a bit of more bass here and there. I use Iphone + Spotify/Apple Music.
The list of the buds that I consider so far:

1. Beyerdynamic Free Byrd
2. Final Audio ZE3000
3. Astell & Kern UW100

Info that I managed to find on those buds is quite dated and MTW3 received many updates through the years, so I was wondering what are the bets options out there for competing in sound quality with Sennheiser’s buds.

You can remove the ze3000 from the list then. The bass on these are mostly balanced.

If you have larger ears, maybe the Denon perl pro.

B&O Beoplay EX. Best for metal. Also Final ZE8000, great sounding, but protruding from my ears too much, catch all the wind and uncomfortable. These two are the best sounding so far, but B&O is also more comfortable. Final is 1/2 the price though.
