I find that the 007A works well on all the above genres. If you felt the need for more bass, the Spritzer blutack mod is supposed to extend the bass more.

Not to sound like a broken record (well maybe a little...) but you might check out the Sigs. They won't give you the bass of the O2, but they do an awful lot of other things well and given your taste in both rock and classical, they may just float your boat.

ahhh... that's what I thought - I guess I could start with O2 mk1 for classical exclusively, and grab some sigmas to compliment them...


i actually prefer the HE60 (and HE90) for classical.

HE90 is little out of budget for me at the moment

I have no idea if there are any people in vancouver (BC) has stax setup....I would love to see a Van-Stax meet though!

EDIT: I think I'll read the Stax thread from top to bottom to better educate myself. That should help at lease little bit.
