I used to have the VM 60g and recently changed to the 2nd gen Zune and I love it, sound quality is very good as well, especially when coupled with my triple.fi's.

I actually voted for the iPod.. but I have the 160GB model. I've used iPods since the 3rd gen model. I refuse to switch from the iPod for a couple of reasons. No one else makes a portable player with 160GB of storage at that pricepoint. And every time I tried to NOT buy an iPod every reviewer compared what I was looking at *to* the iPod. The iPod was the "A-Model". So I figured why get anything else.

iPod + Line-Out docks + Amps + headphones/IEMs will give U a better sense of hearing.
