I am looking for very comfortable headphone for listening to on  my computer mainly and some on  my iPhone. I mainly listen to Hip/Hop and a bit of dubstep and rock.

Here is what I am looking at

Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO, 80 ohms:

http://www.amazon.com/Beyerdynamic-770-PRO-250-ohms/dp/B0006NL5SM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1364865683&sr=8-2&keywords=beyerdynamic

Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro Black:

Not really looking to use an AMP, but I might get one down the road.

Thanks in advance!

I'd say the DT770 80 Ohms. I've heard bad things about the 32 Ohm versions of the main Beyer series. Also, for your uses, the 80 Ohms has a bump in the bass that would suit your purposes well.

Have you heard all the impedences available and compared them? Most of the people who have say that the higher impedences sound better. They may be exaggerating to some extent, but I suspect there is some truth in that given how they all seem to agree on that point.

I can tell you that my DT770-80s are fantastic, but I couldnt deal with using them unamped. The volume would simply be too low. I use my iPhone 5 to power them most of the time, and I pair them with my Fiio E6 (roughly $30). SO! If you are going to get a pair, I would REALLY recommend the 80 OHM 770, I have heard the bass is better than the other variants. I dont hear of as many people buying the Custom ONE Pros over them too often, so there might be a reason for that. I'm not sure. DT770-80 FTW.

I agree, the DT770-80s are no good un-amped... I use the FiiO E11... not sure how the 32ohm version would do without an amp...

Same exact rig here. It sounds pretty sweet.
