As you surely know, you can create Irish Coffee using Irish Whiskey.

Ah yes but the whiskey on its own is nicer than with coffee, Black Bush is nice but I quite like the 10 year malt

Rum is the most enjoyable for me. Gosling's Black Seal is amazing. Pyrat XO is the best for mixing rum + Coke. Captain Morgan Private Stock was nice too, but the regular Cap'n Mo Spiced Rum makes me sick these days.

Unfortunately, vodka and tequila are utterly undrinkable.

I like bourbon (Maker's Mark) on the rocks is for days when I really want to get smashed. Hendrick's Gin makes a SUCCULENT gin and tonic, but it's really expensive. I usually settle for Bombay Sapphire.

I'm pretty much a tequila/cognac guy. I have a co-worker who's about to retire. Anyone with suggestions on a good single-malt scotch to get him?
