On the list, RS-1. But really the best mids I've heard are on the OII, easy. Just magical grainless perfection, with no particular emphasis anywhere on the midband.

my vote is for a balanced hd650. IMO if you are working S.E. the hd600 might take the trophy over it

I haven't spent enough time with the O2 or HD90s to talk about them, but I will say out of my phones I like the mids on the Lambda Pros the most. Like a lot of polls, serious electrostatic options missing.
