FiiO's about to develop a new headphone cable in the hope of meeting the needs of more audiophiles. However, there're so many headphones with different pins out there in the market. Which headphone with replaceable cable are you using? Come vote for the headphone you have in hand or the one you're about to purchase and show us the direction of our next headphone cable.

I've noticed that the only Shure option selectable are the IEMs. As one of the (few) owners of Shure SRH1840 I feel underrepresented.

Thanks, James.

Am loving the X7 with AM-5 right now.  It sounds fantastic on my LiveWires trips IEMs. I have a 2TB exFat Samsung T3 connected with an OTG cable (+ adapter) and it is all working and sounding like a champ. It is really great to be carrying my entire lossless/hi-res library around with me. My prior objections to the X5 handling of organization for large libraries is more-than-sufficiently addressed by snagging some of the better 3rd-party android players.

But even the AM-5 is not punching my HE-560s quite hard enough - so I am thinking of rewiring for balanced drive and trying the AM-3. Have to work out the cabling issue first - as there is no suitable cable from Hifiman, so I am going to have to make one. The current cable product from them that is even close has the wrong connectors at the earpieces and, of course, a 2.5mm TRRS pinout that matches their players and not yours/AK's/Onkyo's. At least the three of you managed to stumble into some kind of de-facto standard. If that was by design, then thanks for that.

My only other - very minor - gripe is that the SSD plus the velcro Command Strips being used to join the SSD to the plastic outer case plus the OTG cable takes what really is a beautiful aesthetic design and makes it, well, clunky. If you ever want to do a side project by making a variant of the plastic housing with a "pocket" or "holster" and integrated USB-C connector... You clearly have some pretty good industrial designers over there. Such a thing should be well within their wheel-house
