So if you were getting one or if you already have it - which color do you think looks the best?

Just to clarify the current offering in green is the emerald pictured in the photo from NYC portables Meet and not the "mint" looking green on the RSA website. I email R.S. on this.

I prefer and have the Black one.
Simply because its match my black iPod's and interconnects.

Are those the same blue Hornets, or are they different (Is one of them baby blue or something?)? If they're different, then I like the first blue one and the gold one, otherwise just the blue one.

So, these colored versions are now for sale/shipping? How much extra?

EDIT: On further examination, the green is pretty nice looking as well (Very comforting and homely). GOLD still looks the best though.

"The Green Hornet" just sounds right, doesn't it?

But then I'm biased.

I guess this answers your questions: Quote:

This makes the colored Hornet, cost wise higher. We Have Hornets with these colors available to be shipped:
Gold chassis with black silk screen.
Red Chassis with gold silk screen.
Solid dark green chassis with gold silk screen.
Blue chassis with gold silk screen.
Clear "Silver" chassis with black silk screen.
Black chassis with gold silk screen, as the STOCK color.
The first 5 colors are at $15.00 extra.
Cheers.

I thought I liked the gold, but Jahn's Green Hornet is sooooo irresistibly green I had to post it again.

It -- is -- hyp-nahhh-tic -- that -- em-er-ald greeeeeen.

Or as Mel Brooks (King Loooooeeeee) said: "Everything is so greeeen."
(...also, It's Good To Be The King... couldn't resist...)

Black. But then again, I'm the type who would have been perfectly happy with a Model T (they only came in black). I think the Hornet represented a new standard in terms of size/sound when it first came out. I grabbed one then and haven't looked back.

Some of the other colors looked pretty cool when I saw them at the first meet Ray brought them to, but none of them "grabbed" me enough to want to trade in my black Hornet.

I do agree with Jahn that having a "Green Hornet" would be fun if for no other reason than to see how many people would even get the reference.

I like the dark red one. I think it is pretty cool that Ray has these different colors. It just adds variety to a fine quality product.

I delayed my order 3 days thinking about this one, and then went black
