I am about to order Terminator 4 but I don't know which cable to choose. I read the description of each cable and they all sound good to me

Are BlackMax and BlackGold worth it or should I go with BlackSilver?

Not that I have any experience whatsoever with the Darth Beyer cables, but it might be handy for us to know what you are looking for in the sound

I don't know to be honest. I basically want a good looking and better sounding 770pro. I use 770pro daily and its my favourite headphone.

Whatever it is make sure it isn't silver, coated with silver, named silver, looks like silver, and doesn't have any relation to silver in any way shape or form. A can like that, needs copper, I don't know what model is what, you can figure that out, just make sure that cable is ALL COPPER!!!

It would be terrible thing to get beautiful headphones like that and screw up the sound with GD silver in the cable.

Copper = Dynamic, lots of impact, natural sounding
Silver = dropping silverware. thin, tipped, K701ish

For Darths, I think copper is the best of them too. Blackmax is a compromise b/w silver and copper but copper gives you a real Darth experience.

I've had silver, copper, blackmax, and blackgold Darths btw.

Thanks for your replies. I'll definitely get BlackGold now.

So what do you suggest I buy? Standard silver cable? You've already told me silver is bad for this type of headphone.
