Hi I want to buy an ATH M50 but ocnfused as to which one I should buy, There are thses versions as far as I can see;
 

ATH-M50

ATH-M50x

ATH-M50S

ATHM50RD

ATH-M50xBL
ATH-M50WH
ATH-M50xWH

The models ATH-M50S, M50RD, M50WH are variations of the base model ATH M50. The M50S comes with a straight cable instead of a coiled one, where are WH and RD are colored white and red respectively.

Similarly, the models ATH-M50xBL and ATH-M50xWH are blue and white versions of the newer base model the M50x. The M50x has detachable cables and updated pads and is more comfortable than the original.
 
I would recommend you get the M50x but they cost around 40$ more than the M50.
