Which Amp/DAC should I use for my new Denon AH-D7100? Any advice appreciated! Thanks

Don't kill me for saying this one....but I can notice more of a sound difference between cables (which doesn't say much) than I can between 192 and 320 bitrate files.

I know some people claim there's a huge discernable difference, I just don't hear it.  Have plenty of music in FLAC / 320 / whatever, 192 sounds good enough to me.

If it works for you go for it.

Everyone does not have the same hearing acuity.

I found these to be interesting reads/views, some good info there:

That's a loooong article. I'm guessing the bottom line is, anything over 192 bitrate we (as human beings) can't hear, and so the 256 they use on Apple iTunes is already overkill and there would be no real world advantage in going any higher? Does that about sum it up?

Ha, no no no it was not intended as an "i'm right you're wrong" type of post.  If you can hear the difference more power to you.  The thread seamed to be on the topic of bit rates and streaming (computer) audio.  Those links were 2 things I had read\watched recently that I thought had some good information in there I didn't know.  Thought it was worthwhile to share.

I wasn't being sarcastic, I was sincerely wondering what the gist of the articles was and I was hoping for a recap. My kid had Soccer so I didn't have time to read them thoroughly. It seemed to imply that a person really can't hear the difference and I've heard that before from other sources. Something along the lines of "full transparency happens at 192".

Personally I have no idea. I honestly don't have a dog in that fight. The only bit rate I've ever downloaded was the 256k at iTunes. I've never heard any of  the others. To me the 256k sounds great. I'm just happy it sounds as good as it does, since it's so convenient. I do hear some garbage on some tracks, but I'm not so sure those aren't just glitches in the original source and have nothing to do with the bit rate.

Personally I only rock lossless music files at home.

I do listen to Pandora and Slacker when on the road.

I know the remote cable wont work as far as controls are concerned. Im concerned with the audio. Will it sound like s regular cable or will it be muted like it is with my amp-hp. Thanks
