well the goldring dr150 cost £60 and are better than senn 580/595 and match the hd 650's imo so no idea why people are still buying senns.

It is extremely easy to find a better sounding set of cans than the sr60s yet there is an appreciation thread. More people own the sr60s so more people will keep them. On the other hand more people sell them for the same reason. I have been reading this forum for a while and there is always a pair of sr60s for sale in the F/S forum. For all their flaws the 555s, at least for me, convey emotion extremely well especially with soul, r&B, and contemporary country. That is what I appreciate about them. |
