Hi guys!I m a heavy MD user and rather frustrated from the way things goes for todays portables. Companies don’t seem to care about anything else except size and battery life these days

.a friend has the Sony MZ-1 and it looks (and weights!) like a war tank next to my MZR-900!.I use my mzr-900 for a year now it’s a beautiful unit but obviously not what I want and need: solid, brick-like construction and a dedicated line-out.is there any place where I can buy a new “old school” unit like MZR-50 or a Sharp 821/kenwood DMC-K9R?.A friend has a mzr-37 and I can buy it from him if I failed to find a top of the line unit like mzr-50 or 821 .

Check out the For Sale forum. There a a few of those exact models currently up for sale now. And from the posts, they sound like they are like or near new.
