Where is the serial number of my RS1??

I cant find them everywhere.....
Anyone can let me know where I can get them on the phones? (not on the box)
My RS1 are the oldest edition with buttons....

They should be on the bottom edge of the wooden cups (where the wires come out) if you take the pads off...

Yeah I took the pads off but nothing there....

any chance the old version has no serial number?

The serial is written with a marking pen in the depression that grips the earpads (so you have to remove earpads). During the first years of production there were NO serials. If you do not find it as indicated - then you got very lucky.........that spells Vintage.

Grado replied me "serial # is on the box, under the ear cushions and inside the driver housings, and if it is an older model might not have a serial #."

So okay i think i got a vintage pair^^

but which year Grado released their first RS1?
