I use UM2's on stage and I need a shirt clip. Where can I buy one? The only people I see selling them are Etymotics. How strange! Sould those work on mine? I assume they would cause all it does is hold a cable but I want to be sure.

The Etymotic one (well, the one for the ER-4) holds onto the pod of the ER-4's, so no, it wouldn't grab onto the cable(s). I don't know about the one for the ER-6(i)'s, though.

Easiest source is on the shirt clips for mobile phone hands free kits. I'd wager you have a few phones lying around (everybody does by now), and a few unused hands free kits, they'll just clip onto the wire and solve your problem.

I use a small plastic coated paper clip. The inner curve fits snugly around the base of the y-joint, I then bend the outer curve perpendicular to the inner curve and clamp it to my collar. I've been using the same one for 2-3 months with no ill effects.

i use a small binder clip, loop the cable thru 2x. Looks stupid, but you get 3 dozen for $3 at office depot.

I ordered a couple of these Plantronics clips linked below for my UM2. Bought two in case I lose one, came to about $15 shipped. I only connect the clip when I actually need it, leaving it connected 24/7 could eventually damage the cable (due to the "clamp" pressure). I connect it to the clear tubing right after the "Y" connector goes from 2-to-1 (not directly on the twisted cable).

BTW, I got the idea from Sgt Strider this thread:
