I can't seem to find them on the American market. Amazon only sells the cables in Japan. Moreover, I read iffy reviews on the sa6 cables, so I'm not sure if I should buy those. Does anyone have information on where I can purchase the originals or good quality alternatives?

I managed to pick up a spare set, which I wound up using, by buying someone else's broken set. This is an IEM that Panasonic no longer sells in the US, though, so it's probably going to either be the SA cables or import it from Japan, lest you find someone with a broken set willing to sell you theirs.

Called their parts department after emailing Panasonic:  1-800-833-9626 Mon-Fri 9am-7:30pm EST 
 
Apparently the item is on backorder for $63.95 included shipping. So I have to wait for them to get a shipment + another 3 weeks for them to send it to me. That seems like a hell of a deal... not really.
 
Those sa6 cables looks really enticing right now.
