At home I prefer the GS-1000 for all but rock/blues. For rock/blues the L3000 wins every time and is also what gets used when the wife want quiet.

When I travel the ESW9 gets used in the rig I set up in the hotel room.

For all transport the ER4 wins.

I find myself more often listening with a headphone to one CD. When the CD is finished, I'll take a different phone to listen to the same CD. A great way to hear different aspects of the same album.
