I actually bought the Ultimate Ears attenuator (an impedance increasing adapter) for my new laptop but I use it with my Zune when I'm studying and want the volume lower than 1/20. It has a negative effect on the sound of my Creatives but works well with my HFI-680s on the Zune. It tames the highs and makes the sound warmer overall.
It's my Cowon D2+ & Audio Technica CK7 Canalphone. All my music is encoded in Flac. And the sound is crystal clear. PERFECT to my ears. It's simple, sounds very good & looks damn cool. It's all locked up & ready to go in a Pelican 1040 Microcase. I couldn't be happier right now. I'll take a pic as soon as i can & post it.
I'm planning on getting an 8GB Clip or a 16GB D2+ (with an extra 16GB SDHC card) but I'm good for right now. I want either of the players so I can move my music with more ease. I need drag and drop support along with FLAC support for my next player.
iriver h140 with 120 gb drive (well, its a h120 in a h140 body) optical out into ibasso d10 then either use d10's amp or use my iqube, earphones usually ath esw9 or ety erp with p to s adaptor
ipod classic 160gb headphone out for podcasts or sometimes ill pair it with the iqube just to mix things up a little as I like living in the fast lane lol
Diymod video 60 gig with a ghetto cap dock using ampohm polypropylene caps (nothing exciting) or a black gate lod
ipod video 60gb usually listen to podcasts and audiobooks etc via headphone out
Ipod nano with tomahawk and se530 or ill ditch the tomahawk and use er6i or ibuds for workout tunage
sansa clips same as nano but er6i exclusively and never with an amp
iriver h300 which i did use with my headroom micro amp but since ive swapped that amp I haven't really used since, although to be fair, I never really used it that much anyway. Not that theres anything wrong with it, just have too many other choices i suppose.
